Who am I you are asking?

I am a 31 year old native German. I met my husband in my hometown Leipzig in 2004 and married him a year later. I moved to the US that same year and opened Squaresville Studios in 2006.

My first encounters with photography were in 1999 when I started experimenting with black & white film. In 2004 a dream came true when I was accepted as an apprentice at a photo studio in Leipzig, Germany. I started taking pictures professionally during that time, photographing everything from babies to weddings.

I love my job! The day I decided to turn my passion into a real life job marks the turning point of my life. Photography makes me who I am. I see the world in pictures and even the smallest details inspire me :-)

* my husband Stephen who is a tattoo artist
* my stepdaughter Lilly who is 12 and a tattoo artist as well :)
* my family & friends overseas
* yummy vegan food
* sleeping in
* traveling around the world, I have been to more than 20 countries and I am always planing the next trip

I love me a cute newborn! Lucia was only 8 days when her parents brought her in and she slept throughout the entire session which is very rare. She was so peaceful and darling! Since her parents purchased the baby plan for her I actually get to watch her grow upI cannot wait to see...
