Who am I you are asking?

I am a 31 year old native German. I met my husband in my hometown Leipzig in 2004 and married him a year later. I moved to the US that same year and opened Squaresville Studios in 2006.

My first encounters with photography were in 1999 when I started experimenting with black & white film. In 2004 a dream came true when I was accepted as an apprentice at a photo studio in Leipzig, Germany. I started taking pictures professionally during that time, photographing everything from babies to weddings.

I love my job! The day I decided to turn my passion into a real life job marks the turning point of my life. Photography makes me who I am. I see the world in pictures and even the smallest details inspire me :-)

* traveling around the world, I have been to more than 20 countries and I am always planing the next trip
