Who am I you are asking?

I am a 31 year old native German. I met my husband in my hometown Leipzig in 2004 and married him a year later. I moved to the US that same year and opened Squaresville Studios in 2006.

My first encounters with photography were in 1999 when I started experimenting with black & white film. In 2004 a dream came true when I was accepted as an apprentice at a photo studio in Leipzig, Germany. I started taking pictures professionally during that time, photographing everything from babies to weddings.

I love my job! The day I decided to turn my passion into a real life job marks the turning point of my life. Photography makes me who I am. I see the world in pictures and even the smallest details inspire me :-)

* my husband Stephen who is a tattoo artist
* my stepdaughter Lilly who is 12 and a tattoo artist as well :)
* my family & friends overseas
* yummy vegan food
* sleeping in
* traveling around the world, I have been to more than 20 countries and I am always planing the next trip

Couples: Jency & Jerry

I just absolutely adore these two! Not only are they one good looking, photogenic, cute & fun couple, they are also absolutely in love with each other and it shows in these images. Their downtown e-session was just fabulous!

Thank you two for being as sweet as you are, for being patient, for trusting my vision and for making me the wedding photographer of your choice. I cannot wait for your big day in a couple of months!! Oh btw, you guys win my personal best dress couple award

This is absolutely amazing. I love seeing photos from other people’s travels! Stunning captures! Is this with a 50mm or 35mm prime? I use zooms on my travels, but never have perfect exposure such as this! Great work.
